These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of chamber-match.com and any related application process operated by Chamber Match (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the website or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms.

Chamber Match is operated by a sole proprietor based in the United States.

About Chamber Match

Chamber Match is an application-based service intended to help conservatory-trained classical string players and pianists connect for potential long-term chamber-music partnerships.

Chamber Match is not an employer, talent agency, booking agency, employment service, or guarantee of musical collaboration. We facilitate introductions and evaluate applications, but we do not guarantee that any applicant will be accepted, matched, or introduced to another musician.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to apply to or participate in Chamber Match.

By submitting an application, you represent that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete

  • You are the person identified in the application

  • You have the right to submit any recordings, links, credentials, or materials you provide

  • You are not using Chamber Match for unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, or fraudulent purposes

Applications and Acceptance

Submitting an application does not create a membership, contract for services, or entitlement to matching.

We may accept, decline, waitlist, or remove any applicant or member at our sole discretion. We may also pause, modify, or discontinue the application process at any time.

Information You Provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, recordings, links, credentials, and other materials you submit.

You grant Chamber Match a limited, non-exclusive license to use the information and materials you submit solely to operate Chamber Match, including reviewing applications, verifying credentials, maintaining records, and making appropriate introductions.

You retain ownership of your recordings, credentials, and other content you submit.

Introductions

If we introduce you to another musician, you are solely responsible for deciding whether to communicate, collaborate, rehearse, perform, travel, or enter into any agreement with that person.

Chamber Match does not supervise, control, or guarantee the conduct, qualifications, availability, safety, or suitability of any member or introduced contact.

You should use reasonable judgment when communicating or meeting anyone introduced through Chamber Match.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • Impersonate another person

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit other users

  • Use Chamber Match for commercial solicitation unrelated to chamber-music collaboration

  • Scrape, copy, resell, or misuse website content or member information

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, application platform, or stored data

  • Use the website in violation of applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Chamber Match name, logo, website design, text, graphics, and other content are owned by Chamber Match or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Chamber Match content without prior written permission, except for personal, noncommercial use of the website.

No Payments Currently

At this time, Chamber Match does not accept payments through chamber-match.com. If we later introduce fees, memberships, deposits, or paid services, we will update these Terms and provide clear information before any payment is required.

Disclaimers

The website and Chamber Match services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chamber Match disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The website will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • Applications will be accepted

  • Matches or introductions will occur

  • Any musical collaboration will be successful

  • Information provided by other users is accurate or complete

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chamber Match and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or participation in Chamber Match.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the website or these Terms is limited to the greater of:

  • The amount you paid to Chamber Match, if any, in the 12 months before the claim; or

  • USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chamber Match and its operator from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your submitted materials, or your interactions with other users.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Chamber Match at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other operational reason.

You may stop using the website and withdraw your application at any time by contacting chamber.match@gmail.com.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will indicate the current version. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
